This year marks the 150th anniversary of Temple Beth El in Knoxville, Tennessee. We are celebrating this accomplishment!
Temple Beth El has deep roots in our community. Since its inception in 1864 we have evolved from a close-knit group of Jewish merchant families to a vibrant participant in community affairs. We are proud of the fact that our congregation serves a strong and prominent role through the entire Knoxville community.
We are planning a community-wide weekend celebration on November 7th through 9th. That Saturday evening, we will host a Gala Event at the Holiday Inn Knoxville World’s Fair Park.
