What's Happening

  • Virtual Services every week:

    Kabbalat Shabbat
    Friday evening, 7 PM

    Saturday evening, 6 PM

  • TEMPLE BETH EL and Sisterhood to coordinate a “DRIVE-THRU” donation collection for Second Harvest and Coats for the Cold

Second Harvest Drive Thru… and Coat Drive
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 8, 12:00-3:00PM side drive at Temple Beth El
and THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 3:30-6:00 PM at the AJCC Parking lot

There is comfort knowing we are getting through this together!  COVID-19 has shaken America’s health and wellbeing.  More and more families are in need of food.

Second Harvest collects non-perishable food and distributes to those in need.  Boxess will be located at the side door of Temple Beth El under the awning.  Not everyone has the luxury of a full plate of food.  Please help fight hunger by donating.  You won’t need to leave your car!

Breakfast items: cereals, granola, snack bars, pop tarts, juice box
Lunch items:  peanut butter, jelly, soups, tuna, spam, canned fruit, canned pasta, mayonnaise.
Dinner items:  Macaroni and cheese, pasta, rice, sauce, stews, canned vegetables, beans

Like many of you, we have had time to clear out some closets.  There are folks in our community that need clean, used men’s, women’s and children’s outerwear and coats.
In conjunction with our food drive thru, we will be collecting coats.  One drive thru does it all!

We look forward to seeing you outside TBE Sunday, November 8 OR Thursday, November 12 at the AJCC.
If you wish to make a donation and cannot participate at the designated times, please email Wilma at wilmadww@gmail.com and arrangements will be made.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your participation!!

    Kathy Young, TBE President
    Wilma Weinstein-Lomax, Sisterhood President
