Ruth Sherrill Distinguished Service Award

Individuals exhibiting many years of extraordinary service and dedication to the congregation are eligible to receive the Ruth Sherril Distinguished Service Award. The name of each recipient is engraved on a silver bird and added to the tree of life sculpture as permanent inspiration and recognition of the individual’s “shem tov” – good name.

It was established January 2011 in Ruth Sherril’s honor because of her love and devotion for the well-being of others. Ruth was the first recipient selected by the executive committee.
